As the planned successor to the Family CFO, this critical role offers a unique opportunity to oversee and shape the financial landscape of an affluent family, blending strategic financial planning, tax optimization, and wealth preservation. As the linchpin of the family’s financial operations, you will have the autonomy to innovate and the responsibility to guide the family’s financial strategy towards sustained growth and legacy building.

Role & Requirements


Responsibilities

  • Develop estate and tax planning strategies for multiple family units.

  • Lead financial due diligence, negotiations, and integration for new ventures and investments.

  • Mitigate family’s financial risks, including liquidity and legal issues.

  • Manage tax issues for operating businesses.

  • Guide the family on cash flow, investments, and estate planning.

  • Act as treasurer and maintaining relationships with financial institutions.


Requirements

  • 15-20 years in finance and accounting, 10+ years in taxation.

  • Bachelor's in Accounting and CPA mandatory.

  • Demonstrated Expertise in strategic estate planning.

  • Skilled in fostering team communication and leadership in dynamic environments.

  • Experienced in financial oversight of capital investments and acquisitions.

  • Proven communication skills, with the ability to preemptively provide critical information to stakeholders.


Succession Planning for Incumbent Family Office CFO
