About the event

In a typical org chart, there are clear lines of reporting and communication. But when you overlay that with a family dynamic, there are additional channels of authority and communication that can supersede the formal structure. The delicate balance of both managing and reporting to family members as a Non-Family Executive within the organization can be incredibly stressful. In the NFE Peer Group, we cover topics unique to Non-Family Executives including the NFE Sandwich and Conflict Triangles to help leaders navigate these challenges.

We always leave room for organic conversation around the specific challenges that our group members are currently facing.

Mission: Empowering non-family executives to excel in the distinct dynamics of family businesses.

Purpose: Our aim is to cultivate a robust community of Non-Family Executives (NFEs) committed to setting and upholding leadership standards amidst the unique challenges of managing family enterprises. The NFEA stands as a dedicated organization, offering memberships to individuals and corporations alike, facilitating a space for learning, networking, and problem-solving tailored to the nuances of non-family leadership roles.

Values: At the core of our organization are the principles of family, commitment, and confidentiality. We recognize the importance of nurturing and safeguarding the interests of our members akin to a family, pledging unwavering support to the sustainability and prosperity of our families, partners, clients, and community. Moreover, we uphold the strictest confidentiality, ensuring sensitive discussions remain private, to protect the integrity of our members and the PAG.
