We agree with Jim Collins: first get the right people on the bus and in the right seats. Leaders:
- Are genuinely humble with a passion for doing their best in their role and for their companies.
- Have values that align closely with those of the client’s
- Are proactive and intense about performance – Do not need to be managed or coached to do the job they are hired for.
- Have the innate ability to be the best at the role they will fill.
- Know the difference between having a job and having responsibilities. “Productively Neurotic” in Collins’ terms.
