We are a generalist retained search firm which, to us, means that we are engaged for our expertise at identifying and attracting “A” level executives for the major corporate and operational disciplines: General Management, Finance (VP’s and directors of Finance, Tax, M&A and Controllers); Sales and Marketing; Operations (VP’s and directors of Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality; Administration (VP’s and directors of Human Resources, and IT).
Because, like people, no two searches are the same, we build each project uniquely to better respond to the realities and requirements of each client organization. Our first step, always, is to have the Stranberg Partner who would perform the search meet personally with the client management group to thoroughly discuss the position in question, the company culture, growth opportunities and risks, and the specific requirements of the role. We then immediately create a market plan, with recruitment materials focused on attracting the specific experiences needed for the open role. Next we reach into the market by specifically targeting individuals from organizations of interest to our client and from other companies that match up well based upon business models, location and reputation for excellence.
The recruitment activity is performed by the Partner who worked with the client during the initial steps. This ensures clarity in communication and accountability. Each serious candidate will be thoroughly interviewed, in-person by our Partner, based upon the requirements set forth by the client. Written reports and resumes will be prepared as well as recommendations on interview strategy for each presented candidate.
